About the Juniors

Burton and District juniors are currently integrated into the main leagues (normally starting in the midweek league) where they compete against other bowlers of all ages. In the near future it is hoped to start a junior league where they are able to compete against their peers in a normal league programme; see web site news items for further developments.

In addition to the league programmes the juniors have a very successfull and very competitive Junior Parks County side with a full Championship programme playing teams from other counties.  The junior team is selected on merit from junior players of both sexes who play against each other on equal terms.

For further information on any of the junior programmes contact any of the Association Secretaries who will be pleased to provide help and advice on either selecting a club or the opportunities and prospects within the sport.
